About my Blog and Disclaimer

Why my Blog?

I was working and along with that I decided to pursue my Masters in English Literature as English has always been my favorite subject. While I did enjoy going into the world of Charles Dickens, Milton and Sylvia Plath, I could feel the pressure of deadlines from my work as well as assignments and exam dates from IGNOU.

The study material which IGNOU gave was helpful but not enough. I had to open so many links before getting the exact poem which was prescribed in the IGNOU book. Or download so many wrong PDFs before I got the correct novel. I knew I was still fine but I knew people who had families, kids, husband, wife, in -laws. I also was able to connect through people who applied for this course but English wasn’t their first language and hence after reading the first chapter of Geoffry Chaucer they would drop out of the course. So I decided to try to make it easier for everyone.

While I am no replacement for an actual teacher, my intentions are good - To provide easy access to related notes and proper links to the correct poems, dramas, novels so you can at least save time on that.

I designed my YouTube lectures in a way that even if you are cooking or cleaning or working on an office assignment you can still keep listening to my lectures on audio mode and you won’t miss much.

All difficult poems are translated line by line in Hindi and links to my personally crafted notes from the help of IGNOU books are also added in the description box of all my videos. Along with that important and related PDFs, links to poems, or other blogs which I found useful are also added.

I have taken all the important parts of chapters from our IGNOU books and condensed them in the form of brief notes, which you can go through during your exam time.

How do I make it easier for you-

  1. Audio lectures
  2. Attached notes
  3. Links to other helpful blogs
  4. Question paper and paper discussion
  5. Covering topics on request of viewers.
  6. Line by line Hindi translation of all major poems
  7. Other tricks and tips to make distance education easier for you.
